Community Service & Involvement
Making A Lasting Impact On Our Surrounding Communities
Kinnard, Clayton & Beveridge is a firm that cares about our community.
We are constantly looking for ways to give back to and build up Nashville
and the surrounding areas.
Our team is proud to play a part in supporting those in need and is always striving
to make an impact far beyond our legal practice. We have participated
in several different events, organizations, and charity functions over
the years. You can review some of the key areas we have invested our time in below.
Bringing a Focus Back on Respect
Kinnard, Clayton & Beveridge launched a contest in the fall of 2011
to shed light on what “respect” meant to 5th graders throughout Davidson County. Randall L. Kinnard has credited his
success as a trial lawyer to his commitment to respect every individual
he interacts with. The firm began to discuss ways to get students talking
about what respect means to them and came up with the illustration contest.
“We strongly believed that this contest would be an interesting way
to encourage students to think about the impact that respect can have
within their own lives," Attorney Randy Kinnard said. "We couldn't
have been more pleased with the result - a collection of extremely creative
entries that thoughtfully express the many different meanings of respect."
Since that initial contest in 2011, we have completed ten more contests
in Middle Tennessee. The winners of the contest receive a cash prize,
as well as a cash donation to their schools and their charities of choice.
This contest has been a great way to get the community involved—including
parents, teachers, and students—in bringing respect back to the
forefront of our daily lives.

Giving Back to Children in Nashville

Kinnard, Clayton & Beveridge cares about the children in our community.
Over the years, we have handled numerous cases involving children, ranging from
toxic toy issues to dangerous prescription drugs. Our firm truly cares about the
next generation and goes beyond our legal practice to support our community’s
young children.
We support and sponsor numerous events for children in the community, including
the Snowflake 5K, which is a run to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee
(PCAT). PCAT facilitates the development of community-based programs through
friends, professionals, volunteers, and donors to help prevent child abuse
from occurring. We also hold an annual RESPECT Contest and various other
events. Randy Kinnard of our firm has even served as Event Chair for the
2014 Music City 5K Christmas Run, which benefits PCAT as well.
Sponsoring the Benton Hall Academy’s Food for Thought Fundraiser
Kinnard, Clayton & Beveridge is proud to sponsor the 7th Annual Food for Thought culinary celebration and fundraiser! For the third
year in a row, our firm is sponsoring the evening benefit hosted by Benton
Hall Academy, a Nashville school that’s been providing educational
services to students in grades 3 – 12 with different learning needs.
Our support will help Benton Hall Academy continue its mission to provide
a safe and welcoming space for local children and their families, and
will fund specialized instructional staff to help the school maintain
low student-teacher ratios.
This year’s event features food from some of the finest chefs and
restaurants in Tennessee, and will be held on Friday March 8, 2019 at
the Nashville Farmers’ Market from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. We invite
all to come show their support and celebrate for a good cause!
"Daniel, Thank you and all at Kinnard, Clayton & Beveridge for
your sponsorship of Benton Hall Academy's Food for Thought Benefit. I
look forward to seeing you there!” - Jimmy Purcell, Head of Benton
Hall Academy
